Z`bar Ocean View cruise into Kagame Cup quarterfinals

Ocean View FC squad that became the first side to reach the Kagame Cup last eight.
The former Zanzibar champions who are making their debut appearance in the regional championship have so far collected six points to top group A courtesy of wining the Saturday’s opener against Rwanda’s Etincelles.
Suleiman Haji scored the Zanzibar Ocean View opener after 35 minutes when he connected home Mohamed Hamduni’s cross.
Said Rashid wrapped up the business for the Zanzibar side with a power packed shot that sailed into the net.
The former Zanzibar champions have so far collected four points to stay on course for the quarterfinal progression with two matches in hand.
This is a milestone achievement for the side that is making a debut appearance in the championship after finishing runners up in the premiership.
The Zanzibar side meets Simba at the same venue tomorrow as they play with a great composure after sealing of the last eight stages yesterday.
The team has wide options of choosing their next opponents in the quarters through winning or drawing their remaining matches.
Tanzania has fielded three teams in the tourney including Yanga and Simba for the Mainland.
